Your investment options
Default investment? Self-select funds? Find out more about your investment options.
The Plan’s default investment is the Direct Line Drawdown Lifestyle Option and, unless you have made an alternative investment choice, this is where your contributions will be invested. The Direct Line Drawdown Lifestyle Option is a lifestyle strategy and this is considered the ‘hands-off’ way of investing for retirement. The default investment is designed to support drawdown as a retirement income.
There are a wide range of self-select funds available – these cover the main asset classes of equities (stocks and shares), property, bonds and cash. Login to your Planviewer account here for more information on the self-select range of funds.
If you are unsure which of the investment options is most suitable to you, you should consider seeking professional investment advice before making any decisions.
